Retreat Day!

It's been a long winter.   As Spring dawns, we are planning a retreat day on April 30th at beautiful Mount Carmel in Niagara Falls. 

It is a day apart.  A day with a fairly open agenda.  Balm for the soul.

We'll gather in the lounge around 9:30 a.m. for coffee or tea. At 10 a.m. we'll move to St. John of the Cross room for a meditation on the theme of Psalm 23, setting the tone for a day of reflection.  It is Good Shepherd Sunday on the calendar, so the perfect day to take time away and let Love nurture us.

There will be time to sit with your journal, walk the grounds, have quiet conversations with friends, or take time for you.

At noon, we will enjoy a wonderful lunch at the refectory and then have time to visit the gift shop.

After lunch, there will be more time to journal, visit the Shrine, read a book, walk the labryinth, or sit in the lounge with friends.

At 2:30 pm, we will gather in the chapel for Mass and afterwards have time after to chat, or head home. 

The $40 fee covers the cost of lunch and room rental.
